Location
She was born in Shanghai but was adopted by a French woman who took her to Vietnam when she was two years old. Xiao Jing has been working and growing up in that plantation; the rubber plantation is her home.
Personality/Quirks/Unique Personality Traits
She is extremely bright and brave. Xiao Jing is not afraid to try things and she is very independent. Sometimes she can be very stubborn, but most of the time she is capable of making decisions that will be beneficial to a variety of different people.
Family
Xiao Jing's parents are unknown but the French woman tells her that she had a younger sister who was too young to be adopted.
Her younger sister's name was Xiao Eun and she was two years younger that Xiao Jing (her whereabouts are unknown).

Her mother is the French woman since she adopted, cared for, schooled, and brought up this child ever since she was two years old.
The other girls adopted by the French woman are her sisters. There names are:
Wendy: Fourteen years old
Penny: Thirteen years old
Ana: Twelve years old
These four girls grew up with each other and were educated together under the supervision of the French woman.

Xiao Jing was home-schooled by the French women a long with a few other girls that were also adopted by this woman. Xiao Jing is a smart girl and has mastered a level of knowledge much higher than her age. She studies hard and stays buried in books every night after a long day's work.

Your main concerns at this time and in life
Xin Xiao Jing's main concern is to enter college and try to get a level of education that will earn her a job in Vietnam. She loves the rubber plantation but wants to experience something much greater. When she hears about the arrival of Japanese soldiers in her current home, the French woman urges her to leave Vietnam and return back to Shanghai to escape being caught by the soldiers and getting enslaved.
